Using Linkedin to Find Healthy, Local Restaurants
LinkedIn is an amazing tool with over 175 million members and two more joining each second. LinkedIn has always been a great tool for individual professionals to network. However, when it added company pages to its scope of functionality, it also became a useful tool for finding commercial enterprises. There are both direct and indirect ways to use LinkedIn to find healthy, local restaurants. Direct Option – Search Under Companies
The first place to look in LinkedIn for healthy, local restaurants is on the Company search page. You can select “Company” on the search bar in the upper right hand, but you can’t add filter options on your search there. It’s the search options that will make finding the type of restaurant you want so easy.
On the Companies page, go to the “Search Companies” tab. You’ll see your search options running down the left hand side of your screen. The first two filters you must use are Industry and Location. “Restaurants” is an Industry option, so check that filter. Second, select your specific location. Depending on where you live, you might have to select the city area. For example, you can’t select “Chicago,” but can select “Greater Chicago area.” Choose whichever location focuses most closely on your local area. Make sure the “Headquarters only” check box is unchecked on the Location filter. If it’s checked, you’ll only see restaurants whose headquarters are in your local area. Using these two filters, you’ve narrowed down your search pool to local area restaurants.
Now you want to narrow it down to the healthy ones. To accomplish this, you need to use the search box at the top of the filter options on the left side of your screen. You can do a search on the word “healthy,” but that might bring up too many options. If there’s a more specific type of healthy restaurant you want to find, search on that more specific term. This could be a term like “vegan,” “raw foods,” or “gluten-free.” Learn more about how to search for an affordable restaurant near you, their menu card, and their specialty on LinkedIn by visiting this website: https://creativediary.net/
Indirect Option
It’s likely that not all local, healthy restaurants will have Company pages in LinkedIn. However, some of their employees may have LinkedIn pages. You can do a search for people in the restaurant industry in your local area and by doing so, indirectly find some healthy restaurants in your area. You do want to use the search bar in the upper right-hand corner of your screen to search for people. Select “People” from the dropdown list to the search box’s immediate left. When you select “People” here, you’ll see the word “Advanced” appear to the right of the search box. Click on “Advanced.” On this page, you’ll be able to add the same search filters as you did for Company searches. Learn more about the local food businesses, on this website: www.4thecure.com
